About Our Native Village

Our Native Village is India's only 100% eco friendly resort and their commitment to environmental conservation is complete. ONV is almost completely self-sustaining, and have gone to great lengths to ensure that it makes maximum use of natural, recyclable resources to meet their power and water requirements. They generate their own eco friendly power, harvest rainwater and recycle waste water to meet most of their needs and grow their own organic vegetables as well.

Our Native Village recreates the ambience of a typical, traditional Indian village. The Village has been built almost entirely using materials from the locality and from the site itself. Most of the roofs are arched panels using oven baked mud tiles with minimal use of steel. Coconut weed leaves have also been used in places.

ONV is the ideal location for the RFL Bangalore Ultra Marathon with its emphasis on eco friendliness and conservation.
